I photograph all across the UK and obviously there will be venues that I have photographed at and also ones that I have not photographed at. I love photographing at new venues as I always love discovering new places to photograph. I always research new venues before I photograph there by having a look on the internet. I also phone the venue beforehand to see if they have any helpful points about what other photographers do. If I haven't visited the venue before then I usually organise the engagement shoot to be at the venue. This way I get to see the venue before your wedding day and get to see the best places to take photos. I will arrive for your wedding day well prepared and ready to capture some fantastic photos.

12-14 hours. I feel that this gives enough time for me to capture the whole day from bridal preparations all the way into the evening entertainment and also the night time party. I usually stay until around 9:30pm/10pm. If you are looking for me to stay longer then there is an additional fee of £250 from 10pm until 12:30pm.

Yes you do. I will send you 10-12 images from your wedding day within 7 days of your wedding.

The process of looking at your photos and editing them so they are ready to be viewed does take a long time. For the pre-shoot or engagement shoot it takes me fourteen days to have the photographs available for you to view via your online gallery and an online downloadable folder. For the wedding photos is takes me 42 days to have the photographs available for you to view via your online gallery and an online downloadable folder. If you have opted to go for the Full Day Digital then your USB package will follow shortly after receiving your online gallery.

A second photographer will give you some more photos of your day at new and exciting angles. For example during a cvil ceremony I will stand at the front with you guys (don’t worry I am always discreet!) whilst my second shooter stands at the back of the aisle. Therefore you are getting two very different shots at the same time. Also it can be helpful to have a second shooter during the group shots. I usually take the group photo and this allows my second to carry on capturing candid shots of the guests. I charge an additional £250 to have a second photographer with me on the day.

Please always state your wedding date when you send me an enquiry. The first thing I do is check my availability. I cannot photograph in two places at once (although would be pretty cool!) so therefore I will tell you straight away if I can or cannot do your wedding. If I cannot I have a list of2 to 3 other local photographers to Chesterfield, Derbyshire that I can recommend. Obviously it is worth checking their webpages out to be sure you like there style!

I have been working as a wedding photographer for more than 10 years now. My first wedding that I photographed was in February 2012 in Bakewell, Derbyshire. I have gained a huge amount of experience photographing weddings over the years and have developed a very specific style.

As part of the booking process I send you three things; a questionnaire, a contract and details of payment. I require all these three things to confirm a booking and to hold the date for you. Also I love to work with my brides and tell them that if you have any specific shots then just to email me them and I try to incorporate as many of them as I can on the wedding day. Also if you are looking for group shots (you don’t have to have these if you don’t want to!) then again just send me a list and I will photograph those on your wedding day. It is better like this as it means that I get the photos that you want rather than me just taking the ones I think you want.

My style is a mixture of candid, documentary and artistic. I spend most of the day discreetly capturing the wedding day. I usually just blend into the background. I also come forward when I need to and I am not afraid to direct people if need be. I capture the day as it unfolds and love capturing all those spontaneous moments. Also I do spend around 30 minutes with my couples capturing more posed and artistic shots of the two of them. I always do this in a fun and relaxed style and the photos I take are always natural and spontaneous. Sometimes I may position and then I just let you guys do the rest. You are marrying each other so you know best as to how to hold each other and get close to each other. There is no pressure and it is always fun!

I am very passionate about what I do. I always photograph weddings to the best of my ability and I use a whole load of energy to capture your special day. I love to photograph as I love capturing those special moments. I am discreet in the way I work and do not take over your wedding day. I have an excellent eye for photography and I am always striving to be better than my previous wedding. You will not find another photographer more dedicated and more passionate than me.

Yes of course. This gives me an idea of what photos you are looking to have. I have my own style and always love to add your favourite shots into the mix as well. I always try my best to capture them all (and I do a pretty good job of doing this as well). Obviously sometimes due to time and weather conditions I will not get them all.

Yes I do as part of the Full Day Digital Package. This is complimentary and is again a fun and relaxed photo-shoot. It acts as a way for us to get to know each other better and also for you guys to get used to being photographed. Again there is no pressure and it is always fun and very relaxed. You receive a selection of images from the photo-shoot on your final USB with your wedding photos on as well. I have been tempted to charge extra in the past for this, but I feel that the engagement shoot is a great way to get to know my couples and break the ice between us; and that is why I have included it as a given in the Full Day Digital Package.

I always leave the decision with you. Please just let me know either way as I will need to plan what I eat on the day.

I always dress smart with a shirt, tie, trousers and sometimes a waistcoat. My main aim is to look smart and blend in as much as possible so I dress like your guests. I am discreet in the way that I work and by dressing this way it helps me to get the best possible photos of your wedding day.

I start the day and finish the day whenever you want me to. There is usually a 14 hour limit on this and it seems to work pretty well; as I can start photographing from early morning and go on into the evening and onto the nighttime party!
